The “Bel Epoque” district was realized under the reign of our King Leopold II. Our residence was built in 1902 but has been recently totally and utterly renovated. The surrounding public domain has been restored to his former splendor in respect with the spirit and the style of the “fin de siècle”.

First and foremost, our guest house wants to be convivial, welcoming and comfortable. We wholeheartedly and cordially welcome our guests with an open mind, in a warm and hospitable fashion. We keep an open house by the sea side where eager spirits and out of the box  thoughts are welcome to collide under the Chatham House rules.

In 5 Gehminuten erreichen Sie 25 Restaurants und in max. 15 Minuten Fußweg sind alle 300 Restaurants in Blankenberge erreichbar. De oorspronkelijke twee woonhuizen op deze plek werden in de 19de eeuw samengevoegd tot één groot pand. Het huidige complex dateert van 1902 en herbergde het 'Institut Communal de Demoiselles'. Later kwam op de begane grond een groentezaak. Een lift bezorgde het toenmalige Hôtel du Nord in 1965 een nieuw elan. Het huidige Hôtel Polaris is in restauratie met het oog op een nieuwe bestemming.
