Camping Astrid is the family campsite par excellence located on the Belgian coast. The hotel rooms of Hotel Cajou are equipped with all common facilities, including a private bathroom. Some rooms have a refrigerator for your convenience. In the morning, you can start your day with a nice breakfast. Return in the evening for dinner in Restaurant Cajou. Taste the fish and grill dishes or choose from the varied menu, which is changed regularly. There are also various holiday menus. The restaurant is closed in January. Hotel Cajou is located in the shopping area of De Panne and close to a number of bars, cafés and restaurants. The theme park Plopsaland is 2 km away. Free parking is possible at the hotel.

De oorspronkelijke twee woonhuizen op deze plek werden in de 19de eeuw samengevoegd tot één groot pand. Het huidige complex dateert van 1902 en herbergde het 'Institut Communal de Demoiselles'. Later kwam op de begane grond een groentezaak. Een lift bezorgde het toenmalige Hôtel du Nord in 1965 een nieuw elan. Het huidige Hôtel Polaris is in restauratie met het oog op een nieuwe bestemming.
