Today, after a thorough restoration in 2023, Hotel Du Parc shines with renewed splendour. It carefully preserves the beautiful Art Deco elements and welcomes a new pioneer: Shannah Zeebroek, our passionate sommelier and hostess. Situated in the very heart of the “Bel Epoque” District of Ostend, our city by the sea, the “Villa Les Pâquerettes” lies in walking distance of the beach of course, but equally on merely a few hundred yards away from the Wellington racetrack, the Casino, the golf course, the swimming pool, the library, the KVO Versluys soccer stadium and the BCO basketball stadium. The posh boutiques and gastronomical highlights are only a few minutes away and the costal tram offers you a stop at a two hundred yards distance.

The “Bel Epoque” district was realized under the reign of our King Leopold II. Our residence was built in 1902 but has been recently totally and utterly renovated. The surrounding public domain has been restored to his former splendor in respect with the spirit and the style of the “fin de siècle”.

First and foremost, our guest house wants to be convivial, welcoming and comfortable. We wholeheartedly and cordially welcome our guests with an open mind, in a warm and hospitable fashion. We keep an open house by the sea side where eager spirits and out of the box  thoughts are welcome to collide under the Chatham House rules.

Our bed and breakfast is a strictly no smoking hostel. However, the garden offers the possibility for the tobacco amateur to enjoy his guilty pleasure.

Later kwam op de begane grond een groentezaak. Een lift bezorgde het toenmalige Hôtel du Nord in 1965 een nieuw elan. Het huidige Hôtel Polaris is in restauratie met het oog op een nieuwe bestemming.
